South East Elevation Trainee
Welcome to our Family Owned Company South East Elvation. We have been operating from the Sunshine Coast in Buderim for 5 years, and have helped many local businesses to work safely at heights, and, have recently been involved in a sizable opportunity which saw our operation move to the Bowen Basin on a Green Field project for 2 years. Our aim for this particular project was to facilitate fauna spotter-catchers to work safely at heights from our EWP basket, inspecting tree hollows in order to safely relocate fauna species prior to clearing works. It was here that Rebecca my wife, who works in Admin for our company, decided to become qualified to work as a fauna spotter-catcher in order to work alongside myself when operating the EWP remotely. Our partnership enables us to offer a unique skill set for environmental projects including clearing works and nest box installations. My son Braden has been working for the company for 2 years, and is ensuring the depot and machine are kept clean, maintained and in top condition.
We enjoy working as a team, and now that we are back operating on the Coast, we look forward to supporting our local trades, businesses and companies throughout the Sunshine Coast and North Brisbane.

About Us - The Machine
Our 2020 European engineered Ruthmann Ecoline truck-mounted EWP reaches heights of up to 18 metres and a horizontal reach of between 8-10 metres. Having the rotational double knuckle and telescopic boom with fly jib, our machine can access many complex positions.
Our compact equipment is mounted on a reliable Mitsubishi Fuso and sits at just 2.5m high and 2.4m wide when travelling, allowing the machine access into low areas, and entrances of just 2.4m wide where many other truck mounted EWP’s cannot go. Being truck-mounted, there is no requirement for floats, and we can mobilize quickly to multiple sites, providing an efficient and cost effective service.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Wet Hire / Dry Hire?
When it comes to plant hire, “wet” hire means that as part of the hire you also get a fully qualified operator who is familiar with operating the plant or equipment. With dry hire, you hire the plant or equipment only.
What features does the Ruthmann telescopic knuckle boom offer?
The Ruthmann brand of Cherry Pickers have a long history of safe and efficient operation in Europe and across the world. The quality of the equipment is excellent. Ruthmann have designed this Cherry Picker to perform multiple applications by including a double knuckle boom with telescopic outreach, a 360 degree basket/platform rotation and basket tilt, and an additional fly jib extension allowing the operator to gain access to many hard to reach areas which would not be possible from a standard Telescopic Cherry Picker. Check out this video link for a visual demonstration.
What working height can you reach when in the Bucket?
Working height - 18,00 m
Outreach - 10,70 m
Can you get into tight access areas including into residential properties?
Yes, if you have gates with an opening of 2.4 metres and overhead clearance of 2.5 metres this should be possible. If in doubt, contact us and we may arrange a site inspection or video review prior to booking. Our Truck and Cherry Picker combination is the most compact truck mounted machinery on the Sunshine Coast!
What are the specs of truck and Picker?

What conditions for set-up are required?
Dry conditions and a level surface are most favourable. Very boggy and sloping areas are not ideal and may require additional preparation. Contact SEE to discuss, and we may need to do a site inspection prior to booking.
Do you need to be licenced to operate a Cherry Picker?
Yes, for any Cherry Picker over the height of 11 metres, a licenced Operator must be employed. At SEE, we are licenced in Working at Heights, and to operate an elevated work platform up to 40 metres.
Can we get copies of insurance and licence details?
Yes, we will happily email copies of these out to you upon request and carry copies of the printed documents on every job site for customers to view.
